Special Rail Service to Verizon Super Bowl Central:
Valley Metro Rail will offer extended hours and capacity operating until 2 a.m. on January 28-31 and 11 p.m. on February 1 to support additional demand and late-night festivities.
Service will operate at regular frequency, which is between 12-20 minutes. In downtown Phoenix, passengers will board and de-board from certain stations:

Campus corner sells soda, beer, coffee, snacks and… just about anything you would ever need for the ultimate railgate party! We even have coolers that you can use. This is a semi-private event but all of our friends are invited!!
ASU Football games are always a good time and tailgating is never a bad idea. Since we have the METRO light rail available to drop us off right in front of Sun Devil Stadium, many people prefer RailGating!

This is a self guided tour of Willo that allows people to peak inside of some really great homes while walking the tree lined streets of the neighborhood.
In addition to touring the homes, there is a LOT of excitement around the street fair that will has food, artisans, music and more along the streets of Monte Vista and Holly. It’s a really great way to spend a day.

The Tempe Arts Festival has got you covered with beer and wine tastings, as well. enjoy the AZ Wine Festival and the return of “The Art of Beer” which will feature some great local brewers. While the festival is free, the beer and wine is not. Seriously? You thought it was included, didn’t you. Sorry. For just $10.00 you get 5 samples of beer from local brewers Four Peaks Brewery and Gordon Biersch. You can also purchase beer by the glass for $5.00. Of course, AZ Wine Festival has been a favorite of the Tempe Arts Festival for years. The best in Arizona wines are a great fit to complement the ambiance of a fine arts festival environment such as the one we have here in Tempe. The cost for the wine tastings is $15.00 for six samples if you purchase them early. Tickets will be $20 for 6 or $25 for ten during the event. Glasses, bottles and cases will be sold, as well. These events are located on 7th Street, just west on Mill Avenue.

This inaugural fundraiser has guests dining out at top Valley restaurants to benefit the Herberger Theater’s Arts Education and other initiatives, including Youth Outreach Programs designed to give Arizona children (ages 3-19) opportunities to excel, learn and heal through the arts. To add a little theater drama… we don’t plan to reveal where until the night of the event.
The evening will begin at the Herberger Theater for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, silent auction and entertainment. Guests find out which fine dining restaurants they will experience just before departure at 7:00pm. Each restaurant will host a table of eight with a specially prepared three-course meal with wine. The 2016 Fantasy of Lights Opening Night Parade kicks off the season of holiday events in downtown Tempe. This event typically hosts around 85 parade units, attracts 30,000 people, and also includes the traditional tree lighting ceremony. At the close of the parade, Santa is on hand for photos and the giant tree is also a great backdrop for holiday pictures.
Of course, we suggest you take the light rail to the Parade. Less parking challenges, for sure.

The 2016 Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade feature approximately 50 lighted boats of all sizes. After dark, more than a thousand luminaria will illuminate the sidewalks and paths of Tempe Beach Park, a special display provided by Tempe South Rotary.
Fireworks Fireworks will light up the night, too. The Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade fireworks finale will conclude the light-filled night following the end of the boat parade.
Selfies with Santa Special guest, Santa Claus, will hear children’s gift requests in Tempe Beach Park. Bring your camera! Families are encouraged to bring their own camera for free Selfies with Santa.
