Tempe Oktoberfest

This year’s Tempe Oktoberfest will be held October 7, 8 and 9th at Tempe Beach Park. Don’t miss the amazing food, fun and, um, BEER.

The annual Tempe Oktoberfest is three action-packed days of music, food and family fun that people look forward to all year long.

As always, there will be live music with 20 bands on multiple stages, along with more food and drink than you can shake a beer stein at.

Did I mention beer? Yes, they will have beer. 22 German beers, craft beers, beers of the world, AND there will be $3.00 Budweiser’s all weekend long.

Admission to Tempe Oktoberfest is FREE

Friday October 7th: 5 pm to Midnight

Saturday October 8th: 10 am to Midnight

Sunday October 9th: 10 am to 6 pm

For the kids, there will be a craft zone, awesome rides and cool games. You know, bouncy things and cool kid stuff. There is “Family Pricing” available on Friday from 5-7PM, Saturday 10AM-6PM and Sunday 10AM-6PM that gets you 25 tickets for $20. Tempe Oktoberfest “tickets are $1.00 each when purchasing less than 25 tickets or when purchased after the family pricing period.” Admission to Tempe Oktoberfest is FREE. For the “big kids” there will also be a Ferris Wheel, Tilt-A-Whirl and more. Yes, even the Weiner Dog races on Sunday afternoon are free to attend.

2011 Tempe Oktoberfest – Getting There:

Of course, the easiest way to get to Tempe Beach Park is to ride the light rail. Just grab yourself a light rail pass, ( kids 5 and under ride free ) leave your car at a park and ride lot and head to Mill Avenue. Tempe Beach Park is just a short walk from the light rail station at 3rd Street and Mill Avenue.
