Rental rates for the West 6th ( the former Centerpoint ) luxury apartments off of Mill Avenue in Tempe are now available. According to an AZCentral article titled “Tempe’s downtown towers have leasing agent, rental rates”, pricing will begin at $945 a month for a studio apartment and will then go up to beginning prices of $1,175 for one bedroom, $1,550 for 2 bedrooms and $1,995 for three bedrooms.
Yesterday, the Zarmeba Group, the new owners of the long anticipated Tempe Towers, announced that Capstone Companies would be in charge of property management for West Sixth.
West Sixth or West 6th? The name of the street in Tempe is 6th Street but signs and their web site show Sixth, as well. I’m going with West 6th, for now.
While the pricing isn’t exactly “cheap”, it does appear to be in line with other cool projects. The projected amenities and the location just off of Mill Avenue is hard to beat. It’s going to be very interesting to watch as people begin to move into the first building this summer.
The stated time frame for initial occupancy at West 6th is this August. It sounds a bit aggressive, but I’m not counting it out as of yet.
We will be following this project pretty closely and will try to get updated information as it becomes available. You can also follow them on Twitter and check out the West 6th Facebook page for more updates.
Pretty soon, West 6th will be rockin’ the Rail Life…

See the video below of one of the West 6th apartments. Pretty sweet…
Living along the rail is the best choice anyone can make 🙂
Hard to argue with that. Thanks Sean! 🙂
Wow. What sort of amenities actually made it into the finished project?
I believe they are keeping many of the original amenities. pool, gym etc.
I am looking forward to them releasing more information.
Really glad to hear it moving forward. More units on rail available = boon to entire rail economy I think! 🙂
945 for a studio.. lol, fuck that.
