There seems to be great demand for rental homes near the light rail line in the Metro Phoenix area. The reasons for this demand are probably as diverse as the types of homes and variety of people that choose to live along the line. Obviously, homes near ASU are quite popular but so are homes in walk able neighborhoods in general. Price is often a key element in deciding where to live but so is convenience and lifestyle.
Along the current 20 mile METRO route, I have seen properties priced from $300.00 per month to well over $7000.00 per month. Homes along the line consist of very modest ( and small ) apartments or condos to ultra luxury penthouse suites. In between, you will find many nice homes, townhomes, condos, lofts, historic properties etc.
