Arizona State University and Adidas unveiled the new Sun Devil Football uniforms recently, and they seem to be a big hit on campus.
In fact, you could say that we’ve been Adidas’d
You know what Adidas’d stands for, right?
All Day I Dream About Sun Devils
Remember that phrase. Write it down, put it in your brain. Be ready for the 2015 Sun Devil Football season and come out to support the Sun Devils!
We’ve heard that the financial terms of the adidas deal will be a benefit to our football program, and we know there was some concern over making a change. According to ASU, the adidas deal is worth nearly $34million over the course of the partnership. Another thing we know is that Athletic Director Ray Anderson and Coach Graham want what is best for this program to compete on and off of the field.
adidas has shown a sincere commitment and level of investment in Sun Devil Athletics that is commensurate with the hard work and championship-caliber performances that are displayed by our student-athletes, coaches, and sports programs. We not only made a decision that was advantageous for Sun Devil Athletics financially, but a partnership decision that will undoubtedly advance our brand based on the innovation of the company and commitments that adidas has outlined. – Ray Anderson
While finances are all well and good, we also want the fans as well as the student athletes to love the product we put on the field and wear to games and around town. Thankfully, all is well. The new logos and uniforms look good and have been embraced by the team and by the majority of fans.
Here’s a look at some of the uniforms we’ve seen already.
