Risser’s Ramblings – Sports Along the Line

January 20, 2014 by Bill Risser Leave a Comment

We’ve been silent for a while, but Nick has been dropping some not so subtle hints, so we’re back!

Loved the renderings of the new Sun Devil Stadium, but really miss the proposed shade structures…

Speaking of ASU, new AD Ray Anderson could be the best “recruit” ASU has ever signed…

Even with a bump in the road, the Suns continue to surprise as they are in the thick of the race for a Western Conference playoff spot…

With 9 defensive starters not returning, Coach Graham will have a lot of work filling those big shoes…

The Sun Devils mens basketball team has got to shake off the Wildcat defeat and get back on the winning track to keep their NCAA tourney hopes alive…

Maybe the lack of news on the Masahiro Tanaka front is good news for the Dbacks chances of signing the young phenom…

Great game at Wells Fargo Arena tonight as the #19 Sun Devil women host the #4 Stanford Cardinal…

Dragic has been playing tremendous basketball during Bledsoe’s absence, and Lin is looking more and more comfortable…

Glad to see the expansion of replay in MLB, and the league is still working on outlawing home plate collisions.  Way over due…

Maybe there’s a chance Jahii Carson will stay one more year?  Nope. Get out to Wells Fargo and catch him this year…
