Tonight is the first ever Maroon Monsoon at Sun Devil Stadium. All Sun Devil fans attending the ASU vs Illinois game at 7:30pm are asked to wear Maroon instead of the traditional gold ( and occasional black ).
Per ASU:
”Sun Devil fans, we need you in full force on Saturday night as the football team takes the field against Illinois! We want every fan in Sun Devil Stadium dressed in MAROON. Arizona State is hosting its first-ever Maroon Monsoon to help continue the Sun Devils’ sweep of Big Ten opponents within the confines of Frank Kush Field”
See the Sun Devil Maroon Monsoon Facebook invite and tell some friends! From their invite we read:
Saturday night, September 8th, ASU hosts Illinois on ESPN in primetime!! It is official that the Devils will be wearing their all maroon jerseys. The entire fan base and student section will be showing up in all maroon!! Imagine that image on ESPN, it will look amazing!! Please join in to make this event special!!
ASU recently announced the game-day colors for the season. It’s a little different than years past so pay attention! ( even YOU, Kerry! ) We will keep the ASU team schedule up-to-date as best we can, so check back before each game.
Remember, the #MaroonMonsoon is tonight. Be there, be loud and wear MAROON.
** Bonus pick… You can also choose the uniforms for the Devils to wear against Utah on the 28th.
