Want to sip tequila and listen to some great music during First Friday this month? Yeah, I thought so. Just head over to the Phoenix Art Museum to hang out and listen to the cool tunes of Roger Clyne. It’s the second opportunity we’ve had for such a celebration recently. Roger’s Mexican Moonshine set at Canteen last week was great – you don’t want to miss this one. Not familiar with their tunes? Listen on this free RCPM jukebox.
See the information below for details. If taking METRO to the Phoenix Art Museum, exit at Central and McDowell, the museum is at the NE corner. ( Phoenix light rail map below )
First Fridays at Phoenix Art Museum
Friday, February 4th, 6 – 10pm
FREE
Featuring a rare acoustic set with Roger Clyne & PH Naffah – founding members of The Refreshments and currently half of Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers
If that isn’t enough…….
There will be a complimentary tequila tasting featuring Roger’s Mexican Moonshine Reposado. This was just brought into the United States a few months ago and many consider it to be one of the smoothest, most enjoyable 100% Agave reposados they’ve ever had. Currently it’s being sold in many retail outlets in Arizona and half of the United States. By summer, there will be national distribution. This isn’t a celebrity-of-the-month-slap-your-name-on-the-label tequila… for those of you who have followed Roger’s career, he knows two things. Music and tequila.
STILL not enough?
Artenders will be selling Roger Clyne’s Mexican Moonshine Friday night by the bottle for 20% off the best retail pricing available with proceeds benefitting the Museum. The Museum will also be exclusively pouring Moonshine inside all night. Roger will stick around afterward to sip and sign bottles. All are encouraged to ride Metro Light Rail to the McDowell Rd stop to and from the event.
