Reminder: The annual Tempe Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade is this Saturday at Tempe Town Lake.
Dozens of boats decorated with tens of thousands of lights will participate in the Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade where a huge crowd of people will gather on the shores of Tempe Beach Park to enjoy the festivities. The Tempe boat parade is a family friendly event that kicks off at 6pm with Santa Claus, followed at 7pm with the start of the boat parade. Tempe Beach Park will be adorned with luminaries to light up the park in a festive holiday style.
The Tempe Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade is the only time of year when motorized boats are allowed on the lake. The boat parade will also be a great time to see the Tempe light rail bridge show off it’s impressive LED display. The combination of the lights from the boats, the lights on the bridge and the lights at the park is enough to get anyone in the holiday spirit. Following the boat parade on the lake, the evening will conclude with a dazzling fireworks display for all to enjoy.
