Ok, so the Devils are 4-5 and up next is the 8-1 Stanford Cardinals. To some, that might not sound like a combination likely to raise a lot of cheers in Tempe.
Like each week, a bunch of us will be getting together for some fun “railgating” action before the game. Instead of talking about the woulda, shoulda, coulda season the Devil’s are having, I think this will be a great opportunity to hang out and have some serious fun while remembering some of the things we do have to be thankful for. How about hanging out with good friends and some great food on a football-filled Saturday?
Another thing to be thankful for is Pat Tillman. This past Wednesday, I learned that Pat Tillman will be honored at ASU with an “on-campus salute as the Sun Devils host Stanford in Tempe” on Saturday. I don’t know of an ASU fan that isn’t familiar with what Pat did on and off of the field at Sun Devil Stadium. For sure, the dude is worth celebrating. There will also be a celebration for the undefeated ASU team from 1970.
I hope you will join us and our friends from Smokin’ Aces BBQ this Saturday as we celebrate football and fun. Our friend Kevin cooks up some *really* good grub, all we ask is for a $5.00 donation for him. For that, you get some of the best pulled pork, chicken, ribs and what ever Kevin is cooking. Our RailGating party is at 101 E 6th Street and is just a short distance from Sun Devil Stadium. Even if you are not going to the game, you are invited to join us. All are invited!
