Ahhh… Rivalry week… ASU heads down south to the U of A and Arizona Stadium in the battle for the Territorial Cup and this game will be competitive… 6’8" Brock Osweiler will start with Threet or Szakacsy backing him up. An ASU win will leave both the Devils and Cats with 4-5 PAC-10 records. Huge game for the Sun Devils… Speaking of ASU, the men’s basketball team looked sharp in the first half, but struggled with St John’s 2nd half defensive pressure and lost the Great Alaska Shootout… Keep your eyes on 7’2" Jordan Bachynski. 7 pts, 4 boards in 19 minutes against St Johns. He will get more PT… Suns hover around .500 early in the season. Can Nash’s health hold up? Will Hedo Turkoglu find his shot? Can JRich continue lighting up the scoreboard? Is Warrick for real? For me, it looks like this season will be about battling for the 8 spot in the Western Conference… D’Backs marketing department with a sweet Holiday Pack offer… Upton trade talks seem to have quieted down. Towers will not move him without getting a boatload in return. Expect him to be in the 2011 Opening Day lineup… Looking for something to do Saturday December 4th? Ride the rail to Sun Devil Stadium for the 11am 4AII Championship game as #2 Gilbert Williams Field (13-0) takes on #13 Phoenix Thunderbird (11-4)… (Disclaimer – My son is a senior at Williams Field – Go Black Hawks!)
