The 2010 Tempe Oktoberfest promises to be a lot of fun for all. There will be games for the kids, plenty of live music to suit many tastes, and of course, BEER.
Held at Tempe Beach Park, this year’s Oktoberfest will be three days jam packed full of activities beginning Friday, October 1st – Sunday October 3rd. Admission to the Tempe Oktoberfest is FREE.
Some of the cool things you will find at Tempe Oktoberfest are:

Of course, riding the light rail to the Tempe Oktoberfest is probably going to be the easiest way to get to and from the fun. There is a light rail station at Mill Avenue which drops you off just south of Tempe Beach Park. Many people traveling to the Tempe Oktoberfest will use a Park and Ride lot and then travel to Mill Avenue to head to the fun. Below is a map showing the METRO light rail park and ride locations. If taking light rail to the Tempe Oktoberfest you can park at the Park and Ride lots for FREE, but a round trip pass will cost you $3.50. You can purchase a light rail pass at any light rail station. You can also visit the METRO site for fare options. ( Rail Life is NOT associated with METRO )
