Our community rocks. Unfortunately, there are many of us struggling to make ends meet this year. How can you make a difference? Join us in the annual Rail Life Turkey Drive. During last year’s turkey drive we gathered approximately 875 pounds of turkey for needy families!
I sincerely believe that many people have a desire to help others this time of year, but we often find it difficult to do so because our lives are so busy. This year, the shelters need a LOT of help. If you would like to help by making a financial donation, we will do all of the work for you! I’ll be purchasing frozen turkeys Sunday morning, November 22nd to deliver to the Phoenix Rescue Mission that day. (I can provide receipts from the mission if needed.) Once we deliver the turkeys to the mission, they will prepare them for a Thanksgiving meal benefitting the people visiting the shelter.
If you are able to donate one dollar or a hundred ( or more), I can put the money together and purchase frozen turkeys all at once, for delivery to the mission on Sunday morning. Over the years, we have found this the easiest way to help the most people.
