Matt’s Big breakfast is one of those cool little places along the light rail line that everyone seems to love. According to their website at MattsBigBreakfast.com, their normal business hours are Tuesday – Sunday from 6:30am to 2:30pm. BUT, this Friday, August 14th they will be opening again at 5:30 pm the celebrate with their friends at Hickman’s Farms and the Arizona Children’s Association. This means we will have an opportunity to have “breakfast for dinner” beginning at 5:30pm to not only support small business, but to support a cool charity event. The “Breakfast for Dinner” event is designed to benefit the Arizona’s Children Association. More info on the event, including other participating restaurants, can be found on Hickman’s web site or by checking out this flier about “PJ’s and Eggs.”

Don’t Forget to Wear Your PJs!”
Basically, you now have a great excuse to wear pajamas Friday night. They are also looking for donations of new pajamas. Since Matt’s is starting at 5:30pm, (not 5:00 as mentioned on Hickman’s site!) it might be a great place to start before heading out for your Phoenix Friday Night.
Today, I spoke with Ernie at Matt’s Big Breakfast to confirm their participation, and she sounded really excited to be involved with this charity. “We are really happy to help the foundation” said Ernie. I also learned that 7 year old Christopher will be there to greet people and he really loves to help with charitable causes. Matt’s is located between the Central / Roosevelt station and the stations at Central / Van Buren – 1st Ave / Van Buren.

I have to say, that I could not agree with you in 100%, but it?s just my opinion, which could be wrong.
