The Arizona Diamondbacks played some exciting games despite their losses over the past week. This week’s home stand promises to be an exciting one with the Chicago Cubs visiting Arizona. Several Chicago fans call Arizona home, so this series expects to be jam packed with baseball fans from either team. The team closed out the week with an excellent win over the San Francisco Giants on Sunday. The game would go extra innings as the Diamondbacks prevail by a score of 4-5.
The light rail has been pretty packed for the games. It has been pretty exciting to see the riders taking advantage of the close proximity of the light rail stops to Chase Field. On Monday, against the visiting Chicago Cubs, the Diamondbacks are running their Mystery Ball Grab Bag promotion. For those of you unfamiliar with the promotion, you have the opportunity to purchase an autographed baseball for $50. The proceeds go to benefit the Diamondbacks Foundation. There is a five ball per person limit and the balls sell out quickly. Some of the autographed balls that are available include autographs from the following D-backs stars and Major League Baseball Stars.

The D-backs then hit the road for an eight game road trip where they will be playing the Milwaukee Brewers through Sunday, followed by the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres.
