The 2009 Tempe Music Festival will be held April 3-4 at Tempe Beach Park! This is the first year where people can take light rail to this awesome event and not have to deal with parking and traffic issues of past years. The light rail stop at Mill Avenue and 3rd street will probably be your best bet. Tempe beach park is located at 80 West Rio Salado which is just a short distance north of the 3rd and Mill station.
If you act fast, discounted tickets will be available this Friday (the 13th) for $25.00. There are also other ways to save money on tickets listed on their "tickets page" on the site so check it out! There is also a helpful "general information page" as wll.
The line up of talent is looking quite impressive! So far. I see they have Kidd Rock, 3 Doors Down, valley favorite Roger Clyne along with many others already listed on the site. Along with the big name talent, you are gonna want to check out the SRP "Garage Band Competition.". If you have never been to a Tmpe Music Festival, you are missing out. Please join us this year in supporting this very fun event!
