Here at Rail Life, we like to continue to make things better for the community. We have a lot of changes planned for the future to make the site easy and better for everyone. And we hope to continue to expand our services as Valley Metro continues to expand its services throughout the valley of the sun.
We have just made a few of the recent changes to the Restaurants' section of the site that we hope you like. One of the changes we just pushed out is a listing of restaurants by station. We hope this will make it easy for you to look ahead at what station you are going to and find the right restaurant around that station for you. One other similar change we have completed is a change to the different cuisine types in the restaurant section. Now you can not only look at the type of food you want but you can also filter those cuisine types by stations as well. Also if you like coffee shops like I do, we provided a quick button at the top of the restaurants' section for both coffee shops and bars along the Metro Light Rail.
We hope you make use of these new features of our site and look for new features coming in the future like:
-
Station Specific pages that map and describe the area around each station.
-
WiFi hotspot along the light rail that many of you have requested. (we aim to please)
-
Pages that help link the community together along the light rail.
For now… we will see you on the rail!
That is so awesome to see that someone is finally making a site that is both user-friendly and willing to meet the needs of everyone using it. I just checked out the new station features and LOVE it! I’ll definitely be using this!
Excellent idea – enjoyed your interest with diverse solutions – you gave me some excellent ideas which i will try to apply to my local market. on the SF Peninsula, we have CalTrain which is about the only useful public transit to and from SF up and down the Peninsula. many youger hi-tech workers live in sf and commute into silicon valley for employment.
