Light Rail fun – Come join Rail Life on Mill Ave!

So, what are YOU doing Tuesday night, February 3rd? I have a better idea, you should come hang out with us at Monti’s La Casa Vieja and enjoy some great company along with their happy hour specials. As you probably know, we want people to learn more about "life" along the light rail line. While the web is a GREAT way for us to share ideas and information, meeting "IRL" (in real life) is a lot of fun, too. So, join us for a "Tweet-Up" – a "Meet-Up," or just a fun couple of hours where we can hang out with friends and make some new ones.

The location for Monti’s is easy to get to from anywhere. If you live along or near the line in Mesa, Tempe or Phoenix, I suggest taking the light rail to the 3rd St / Mill Avenue station and walking a block (or so) North to Monti’s at 100 S Mill Avenue, Tempe, AZ 85281. Almost everyone in Arizona knows where Monti’s is which makes this a perfect spot for our first of many fun nights like this. No, this is not a "sponsored" event, all food/beverages are the responsibility of each person but they do have some "free" happy hour food. In fact, if we can get enough people to RSVP on our "Upcoming" page, we have a better chance to persuade them to put out some more good grub to eat. (hint, hint) The people at Monti’s have been VERY friendly and accommodating to me in looking for a place to meet with our Rail Life friends.

So remember: Come hang out with Rail Life on Tuesday, 2/3 from 5pm-7pm at Monti’s La Casa Vieja. Enjoy Monti’s happy hour prices, delicious finger foods and meet some really cool people!
