RailLife.com is donating two entries for the upcoming Climb to Conquer Cancer event at South Mountain in Phoenix. ($40.00 registration fees) All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on the "Join Rail Life – Help Fight Cancer" post and you are entered to win. Calie and I will draw names this Tuesday, January 27th live from the Tech Conference in Mesa. If you have already donated or registered, your comment will be worth two votes. If you win but can not attend, you could give it to someone able to participate. Another bonus? You get an "official" Rail Life Climb t-shirt. You know it is going to be fun… Come on out, enjoy a great day and help raise money and awareness. The economy sucks but this is something near and dear to my heart. My mom is a survivor, my grandfather lost his battle with cancer and I have watched many friends and family members battle cancer.

Climb: The American Cancer Society Climb to Conquer Cancer Event is in its 26th annual year. At Climb, participants put together a team of individuals (friends, family, co-workers, etc) to raise money to support the mission of the American Cancer Society. To celebrate our fund raising, we will 'hike' up South Mountain (approx. 5 miles) and enjoy a 'Top of the Mountain' Celebration. The entire 'hike' will take place on the paved road where cars usually drive. There will also be buses available to help 'Climbers' down the mountain if needed. We will have water stops along to way to help you hydrate! Once you have completed the 'Climb' we will have a festival area for more celebration at the bottom of the mountain!
