The first Light Rail Scavenger Hunt is on the way!  Sponsored by Barrett, the Honors College at ASU, the Party features groups of students, faculty and staff as they make their way through Mesa, Tempe and Phoenix via the light rail line in search of a list of specific items.

Hosted by Barrett, “The Barrett Light Rail Party” is scheduled to take place on Friday, February 6th from 4pm-9pm.  This is a great opportunity for all light rail business owners to participate in this community building event. Think of the exposure this event will bring to your organization! College students, young professionals and experienced professors will be passing by your business the night of the event.  Wouldn’t it be better if they came through your door, instead of just pass by?

If you’re interested in sponsoring the first ever “Light Rail Scavenger Hunt”, simply contact Jill Johnson, Barrett Downtown Program Coordinator at 602-496-0557 or via email at Jill.Johnson@ASU.edu

Some examples include photo opportunity with the owner or other special feature of your location, buy-one-get-one free purchase, coupon for future purchase, brochure or advertising, cool swag or fun freebies.  Your business name will be included on the “Light Rail Scavenger Hunt” list, as well as directions to your business. Whether you're open for business or closed during the "Light Rail Scavenger Hunt" do consider the many benefits of your donation for the prize package awarded to the winning team!

Here’s the really cool flier with additional information. Be sure to also check out their Facebook page.  As always, all of us here at RailLife.com welcome the opportunity to help out local businesses with community events.  If you have an upcoming event that happens along the light rail line or is directly related to the light rail and you would like our help in “spreading the word”, just let us know.

As always, here at Rail Life – Your Life is on the Line™
