Unless you really don't pay attention around here, you know that I LOVE sports. We also have been known to make a friend, or two on Twitter. Tonight, when I saw that the Sun's are having a "TweetUp" it took me about two seconds to decide to buy tickets. On their web site it says, "Hey Tweeps, we’ve been so excited about the energy and enthusiasm you have shown for the Phoenix Suns and our players on Twitter, that we’ve decided to bring you all together to celebrate the NBA’s first ever “Tweetup” on Friday, January 16."
If you don't know what Twitter is, that's ok. (sad, but ok) I am SURE you are a Sun's fan so be sure to check out the PhoenixSunsGirl on Twitter to get the latest and greatest Sun's scoop. More info is as follows.
- At 5 pm, we’re all going to get access to the building early, before the general public, to watch players warm up from front row seats.
- Upon entry each of us is going to receive an exclusive Suns Twitter t-shirt we can wear throughout the game and a Suns player jersey bag.
- During the game we will all have seats in the same section – Twitterville – to get to know one another.
- After the game, we will all go down to the official Suns Practice Court to mingle and possibly even meet a surprise Suns personality.
You should use the access code of TWEEPS when ordering tickets. I really hope you can join us. In fact, Rail Life has already begun to make plans to meet a bunch of Tweeps along the line somewhere for our own "pre-game tweetup!" Stay tuned for more information. Hopefully, friends like @tdhurst, @chuckreynolds, @cwaterhouse and others will help us with some great pre-game planning. Maybe we can get Majerle's to give us a deal! 🙂 After all, they are right by the 3rd St and Washington Light Rail station!
