This past week, there was another public meeting to discuss possible options for expanding our light rail system further west. The main discussion was centered on routes from Central Avenue connecting to the I-10 freeway. Metro had information boards along the back of the meeting room detailing plans for the future. There was some really good public involvement at the meeting with residents for and against the different choices. Later this week, I'll post some of my notes and a mp of the areas of discussion. It is great to see the public involvement with these projects. Next month, I'll be meeting with a group of business owners along the route to discuss some of their concerns. Remember, if you are a business owner or know a business owner along the light rail line, we really want to hear from you.
