What is significant and historic about tonight's ASU football game?
It is the last home game played in Tempe prior to the opening of Light Rail! Isn't that a great excuse to celebrate? We think so! Next season, people will be able to get to the ASU games via the light rail stop at 5th St / College Avenue. How cool is that!?
Ok, so the Thanksgiving day football games were not the most exciting in history. Let's face it, the Lions and Seahawks both performed like they had already eaten their feast. The Cards did nothing to add to the band-wagon that has been waiting to fill up for as long as we can remember and the Texas A&M Aggies got rolled like many expected. But, Thanksgiving weekend is made for football and we are not done yet! We will be cooking some burgers and brats before the ASU – UCLA game tonight. Game time is 7:30, we will be there around 5:00. If you are anywhere near Tempe or Mill Avenue, stop by and say hi. I might even make you a bite to eat! π Now, you can really say… "Your Life Is On The Line!"
Hey Nick! Thanks for the comment! I was going to ask if it’s alright to mention your blog on my “blogs I like” section… but…. wait….are you a Sun Devil??????? π
Tony… haha.. Sorry to tell ya but, yep.. HUGE Sun Devil fan here. No worries, we can all get along! π Next year, I hope you come down and meet us at one of the games, it’ll be fun! π
Yes, of course we can all get along. Although there may be some jabs now and then. π Actually, I haven’t been to any games since I moved here. I hear they’re fun. And soon to be very convenient with METRO, right?
Heck yeah, the 5th St / College Ave stop is right outside the door. We will make a fan outa’ ya’ yet… lol
