The Downtown Voices Coalition is asking the Mayor, City Council, and interested parties to find a solution for running light rail on a 24 hour schedule. A few of their reasons are as follows.
Our friend, Edward from the Life at the ASU Downtown Phoenix Campus blog also pointed us to this post by DVC talking of the light rail hours. Both of them posted information on an upcoming Phoenix City Council meeting:
“The Council’s Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee will discuss this matter at their Thursday, September 18 meeting at City Hall, 12th Floor, 200 W. Washington St. (start time is 9 a.m.). The public is invited to attend. To view the full meeting agenda, click here. To read the Downtown Voices Coalition position statement on the matter, click here.”
