Ok, so some of you might have to bear with me once in a while. This afternoon, my friend Michelle (the Rail Goddess) and I were taking some pics of a few of the rail stops for an upcoming project and saw this sign that said “Light Rail Sale.” It just so happens that they were doing some testing of the cars along Washington and had a light rail car parked in front of the sign. We thought it was a bit ironic, you might just think we are weird. 🙂 Either way, it is pretty cool to see the cars in the streets in Phoenix, Tempe and in Mesa.

Nick,
OK. I’ll take one of them “light rail”s, since they’re on sale. That must be one heckuva sale!
That “light rail sale” sign has been up for as long as I can remember. I think it’s a perpetual sale. It sort of reminds me of the legendary stores in NYC called “Going out of Business.” Because that was the stores’ legal name, they could display a sign with that wording all the time.
Vance, I bet even the “sale” price on one of the cars would be a shock to many people. 🙂
Hi David.. That is funny. I hope they are getting some great results as if they were “going out of business.” 🙂
