West 6th has now begun to lease luxury apartments in the Mill Avenue District. The former Centerpoint Towers should see their first residents in the Summer of 2011.
These luxury apartments in Tempe will consist of 375 units between the two towers. Tower One consists of 189 units and residents will begin moving in on August 1. Tower Two has 186 units and should see residents by the end of 2011. Each tower at West 6th will have some awesome amenities.
Tower 1 ( the first of the two towers to be completed ) will have 7th floor features in approximately 9000 square feet consisting of a state of the art fitness center with an extensive cardio area, machine and free weights, yoga room, lounge and tanning beds, locker rooms and dry saunas.
The 7th floor of Tower 2 will have study areas, private meeting rooms, computer stations, theater style viewing television, and a game room.
There will be a resort style swimming pool at West 6th on the 7th floor with a spa, cabanas, fire pits and bbq area. Residents will also have access to the Business Center which features private conference rooms, high speed internet, Wi-Fi hot spots, computer stations and printers.
West 6th Lease Rates
Initial lease rates for West 6th begin at $945 for a studio, $1175 for one bedroom units, $1550 for two bedrooms and $1995 for three bedroom apartments. The private access townhomes begin at $1,195 per month and the 2 – 3 bedroom penthouses start at $2,995 per month.

The bottom floor of West 6th is likely to have restaurants or shops catering to residents and to the public. As of now, we are not aware of what will be coming in.
The former Centerpoint Towers are big news in Tempe. West 6th will be a great addition to the Mill Avenue District. This project has the potential to change the way people live in the area.
