The Tempe Fiesta Bowl Block Party comes to the Mill Avenue District each year on New Year’s Eve. Approximately 100,000 people from near and far attend the annual Tempe Block Party to ring in the New Year at one of the west’s biggest and best parties.
Live music, dancing, beer gardens, and much, much more can be found the entire night. At midnight, there will be a confetti blast along Mill Avenue along with a huge fireworks display. ( There will be fireworks at 10pm and at midnight.)
Tickets to the block party are $20.00 and can be purchased at the entrance gates to the Fiesta Bowl Block Party. The entrance gates are located at the following locations; Mill Ave. & University Dr., 5th St. East of Mill Ave., 5th St. West of Mill Ave. (by Ash Ave.), and 3rd St. & Mill Ave. (right next to the light rail station). Discounted tickets are available at Safeway for $16.00. If you are one of the VIP types, VIP tickets can be purchased for $100.00. For your hundred bucks you’ll get complimentary food and drink, an area to sit down, and a viewing platform to see the national acts.
