Metro light rail provides service seven days a week, their hours of operation are listed below. METRO does require that you have a valid light rail fare prior to boarding the trains.

Special Rail Service to Verizon Super Bowl Central
Valley Metro Rail will offer extended hours and capacity operating until 2 a.m. on January 28-31 and 11 p.m. on February 1 to support additional demand and late-night festivities. Service will operate at regular frequency, which is between 12-20 minutes.
Weekday Hours. Trains begin the first full trip of the day at the end-of-line stations at approximately 4:40 a.m. The last full trip of the day Monday through Thursday begins at 11 p.m., arriving at the opposite end of the line at midnight. Friday nights have extended hours of operation where the last full trip begins at 2 a.m., arriving at the opposite end of the line at 3 a.m. Saturday morning.
Weekday Frequency. Trains arrive every 12 minutes from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; all other hours, every 20 minutes.
In May of 2009, Metro announced “Extended Weekend Service Hours” for Friday and Saturday nights by extending the “last full trip of the day at 2 a.m. Saturday and Sunday mornings, arriving at the opposite end of the line at 3 p.m. METRO will continue to provide 20-minute service in this extended period.”

The last full trip of the day begins at 11 p.m., arriving at the opposite end of the line at midnight. On Saturday night, the last full trip of the day begins at 2 a.m., arriving at the opposite end of the line at 3 a.m. Sunday morning.
Weekend and Holiday Frequency. Trains arrive every 15 minutes between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.; all other hours, and on holidays and Sundays, trains arrive every 20 minutes.

Valley Metro Rail will operate on the following major 2015 holidays using a Sunday schedule.
