The light rail station at 38th street and Washington is also known as the Gateway Community College station. Like ASU students, the students at Gateway Community College find light rail to be a great way to get to school. Other than the school, the area is mainly surrounded by commercial development, there is also a park and ride lot at 38th street that holds 189 vehicles.
