The light rail station at 44th street and Washington is also known as the airport station. We will see a lot of changes to this are once the new Sky Train system to Sky Harbor opens. Near by, you will find a lot of commercial buildings, hotels and the Chinese Cultural Center with many unique restaurants and shops. In the near future, the area surrounding this light rail station will be quite the hub of transportation activity with bus, taxi, light rail and Sky Train services all connecting people to and from Sky harbor International Airport.
