Light Rail Station – Sycamore and Main

The Sycamore and Main Street light rail station is currently Mesa’s only light rail station and is home to the largest Park and Ride lot with over 800 parking spaces. This light rail station is also sometimes referred to as the Dobson Station as it is just East of Dobson Road in Mesa.

Currently, the Mesa light rail station is the busiest light rail station in the entire 20 mile Phoenix light rail starter line. This station was a great way for Mesa to “test out” light rail in to their city. Mayor Scott Smith has been very supportive of the project and instrumental in getting an extension of the light rail line that will run through downtown Mesa as the first light rail expansion in Arizona.
